The SH (Smart Home) - Telecommunication Systems course introduces the students to the fundamentals of the telecommunication system. Students learn about the design, installation, and configuration of home telecommunication systems, including advanced wired and wireless systems. They learn to install in-house services, such as voice mail, intercom, and call conferencing. Students also learn about testing and troubleshooting procedures.

This is due to the potential high download and upload latency of cellular connections.
