Course Overview:

Students will learn the basics of image correction in Photoshop. Students will learn to correct the overall appearance of the image by improving contrast, color and composition. Students will learn to save their images to be used on web pages. Students will need a copy of Photoshop. A 30-day trial version is available. No book is required for this course.

Course Outline:

  • Students will use the selection tools to select parts of an image to edit.
  • Students will use Levels, Brightness and Contrast and Color Balance to adjust their images.
  • Students will use the repair tools to fix minor flaws in their images.
  • Students will print their images and save them to be used on web pages.

 

All necessary materials are included.

  • Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.
