Course Overview:

Learn to create newsletters and flyers using Microsoft Word. Students will format their page using column layout. Students will add graphics, tables and embellishments to their documents. Students use styles to make formatting and updating the newsletter easier. Students will need a copy of Word. A 30-day trial is available.

Course Outline:

• Students will use the Page Layout and Columns features for creating a page layout for their newsletter.
• Students will define formatting and styles for their newsletters.
• Students will insert graphics, clipart and Word Art objects in to their newsletter.
• Students will print their documents and save them as templates.

All necessary materials are included.

• Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.
