Course Overview:

If you are making the move to Office 2007 from an earlier version, this course will have you ready to use Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook without missing a beat. You will get an overview of the new Ribbon interface that is common to the new Office applications. You will explore the basic features of each of the Office applications while you get accustomed to the new Office 2007 interface.

ATTENTION: This course has a strict start and end date.  When a student enrolls into this course, they will need to work with one of our Training Assessment Managers (TAMs) to choose a start date before they can be enrolled in their course.

Course Outline:

  • Students will explore the new Ribbon interface and install the files needed for the course.
  • Students will create and edit a Word 2007 document.
  • Students will create and edit an Excel 2007 spreadsheet.
  • Students will create and edit an Access 2007 database.
  • Students will create and edit a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Students will use Outlook 2007 to manage email and appointments.
  • Students will review what they have learned in the course.
