Course Overview:
This course will review the skills necessary to pass the Mathematics portion of the GED. Topics that will be covered include: Whole numbers and Operations, Decimal Numbers and Operations, Fraction and Operations, Statistics and Data, Percents, Probability, Algebra and Geometry.
ATTENTION: This course has a strict start and end date. When a student enrolls into this course, they will need to work with one of our Training Assessment Managers (TAMs) to choose a start date before they can be enrolled in their course.
Course Outline:
- Students will take the Mathematic Pre-Test to identify where they will need more work.
- Students will solve mathematical problems with whole numbers and math operations.
- Students will work math problems which use decimal numbers and math operations.
- Students will solve math problems which use fractions and math operations.
- Students will solve math problems which use ratios and proportions.
- Students will solve math problems which use percentage and probability.
- Students will solve math problems which involve charts, tables and graphs.
- Students will solve math problems which involve algebra and solving word problems.
- Students will solve math problems which use units of measure, money and time.
- Students will solve math problems which involve mathematic shapes and geometric formulas.
- Students will take the Post Test to determine how well they have mastered the content.
All necessary materials are included.

- Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.

Therefore, it is not recommended that students use a cellular hotspot as their primary way of accessing their courses.
