Course Overview:

Students will learn the fundamentals of using Corel Draw to create and edit vector images as well as photographs.

ATTENTION: This course has a strict start and end date.  When a student enrolls into this course, they will need to work with one of our Training Assessment Managers (TAMs) to choose a start date before they can be enrolled in their course.

Course Outline:

  • Students will explore the CorelDraw environment.
  • Students will explore tools for creating documents and transforming objects in CorelDraw.
  • Students will create and edit objects in CorelDraw.
  • Students will add and format text in their CorelDraw documents.
  • Students will add formatting to lines and objects in their CorelDraw projects.
  • Students will add special effects to objects in their CorelDraw projects.
  • Students will create 3D objects in their CorelDraw projects.
  • Students will use CorelDraw to work with bitmap images.
  • Students will work with the printing features, HTML publishing features and Automation features of CorelDraw.
  • Students will create a final project using what they have learned in the class.

  • Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.

NOTE: While cellular hotspots may allow access to our courses, users may experience connectivity issues by trying to access our learning management system.  This is due to the potential high download and upload latency of cellular connections.   Therefore, it is not recommended that students use a cellular hotspot as their primary way of accessing their courses.
