Course Overview:

This course explores individual communication styles and elements of communication. It focuses the student's attention to the finer points of communication. Ultimately the student will gain a sense of the types of communicators he or she will deal with on a daily basis and offer techniques to improve the communication process.

Course Outline:

• Given a list, students will correctly identify 3 communications styles and correctly associate 3 key indicators for each style
• Students will identify the parts of the communication cycle.
• Students will identify connecting styles of different types of communicators.
• Students will identify how to best use media to convey a message.

All necessary materials are included.

• Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.
